C.A.
Henry was born in Belfast Northern Ireland in 1954
to a Peruvian mother and a British military father. The
eighth of eleven siblings, the family moved to Canada
in 1957. Henry found his spotlight being creative,
always encouraged and regarded as the artist by his
family. He was exhibiting his work by the age
of 12. His mentor, Arthur Shilling, guided and encouraged
C.A. with his craft and C.A. soon realized his creativeness
was mans natural element and became faithfully lost
in it.
Henry’s
high-energy work is poignant evoking passion and
emotion in every canvas. He has exhibited extensively
over the last 20 years, across Canada and recently
in Belfast, Ireland. His work is held in many private
and corporate collections including those of former
Prime Minister’s of Canada , BMO Harris Private
Banking, Confederation Life, Deloitte Touche, 3M
Canada Inc., University of Toronto as well as being
held in the permanent collection of the Art Gallery
of Mississauga.
